How Oxy-Powder Works
Oxy-Powder works by introducing stabilized nascent oxygen into the bloodstream and intestinal tract. The release of this nascent oxygen is able to liquefy and remove the compacted faecal matter large intestine (the colon). Oxy-Powder’s slow release of mono-atomic oxygen creates an inhospitable environment for anaerobic bacteria and other toxic matter. These ‘toxins’ are removed while maintaining the friendly bacteria which are needed for proper digestive and intestinal health. By taking an oxygen-based cleanser every other evening before bed or first thing in the morning we feed the friendly bacteria with the oxygen they need to create a stable bowel environment.
Oxy-Powder is a combination of magnesium oxide compounds which have been ozonated and stabilized to release mono-atomic or nascent oxygen over 12 hours or more. The timed release ensures that Oxy-Powder will provide an adequate amount of oxygen, slowly, for better utilization. Stabilised oxygen is a non-technical term referring to a compound containing oxygen atoms which are stabilized with buffers so that the product can be bottled without the oxygen being released before it is needed. The result is a stable environment of oxygen which can be taken as a dietary supplement.
Oxy-Powder, when in an acidic environment, begins to slowly release nascent or mono-atomic oxygen. The release of oxygen continues throughout the digestive system. The magnesium acts as a vehicle to transport the oxygen throughout the body. The by-products of Oxy-Powder are magnesium in an oxide form and nascent oxygen. In its oxide form, very little magnesium is assimilated by the body. It passes, through the intestinal tract, kidneys and bladder, helping to cleanse by delivering oxygen along the way. Therefore, it is the perfect vehicle for transporting oxygen.
Oxy-Powder and Candida overgrowth syndrome
We are frequently asked whether Oxy-Powder will get rid of candida. The suppliers do not claim that oxy-powder is an anti-candida product. Nonetheless, we get phone calls all the time from people who claim that it has reduced or eliminated candida. The question is are they right?
Since candida is considered to be an anaerobic micro-organism, it would seem logical that using an aerobic (oxygen-based) colon cleansing product would help. We are not aware of any clinical studies that demonstrate this, but many candida sufferers report that taking Oxy-Powder has eradicated or reduced their intestinal candida, and we have no reason to suppose they are lying. If you read the reviews of Oxy-Powder and the similar (rival) brand which we sell – Colosan, you will see that a number of people have mentioned that it has helped with candida.

Warning
Vitamin C is a wonderful nutrient which we believe is beneficial for pretty much 100% of people, but Vitamin C supplements should not be consumed within two hours of taking Oxy-Powder. No harm will occur if you do, and the bowel opening effect will be the same. But taking Vitamin C may reduce the oxygenating benefits derived from taking Oxy-Powder. Please do not worry about eating fruit which contains Vitamin C. We are only recommending you to avoid vitamin C supplements for a couple of hours if possible, which contain much more vitamin C than eating almost any quantity of fruit
Oxy-Powder USA vs Oxy-Powder UK
Oxy-Powder is made by Global Healing Center, who is based in Houston, Texas, USA. The American and UK Oxy-Powder is the same. However, the bottling and labelling are not the same. American Oxy-Powder comes in a glass bottle, whereas the UK Oxy-Powder comes in a lighter plastic bottle in order to reduce shipping cost. Secondly, the text on our label has been adapted to comply with EU regulations. However rest assured, if you have seen a different label elsewhere, or purchased a bottle with a different label this does not mean we have sent you the wrong product. The other thing you should note is that Oxy-Powder no longer contains Germanium, which was removed a few years ago.
